Backstack is a plate-loaded weighted backpack designed to carry standard Olympic weight plates high on your back. It is built for weighted pull-ups, push-ups, rucking, loaded walks, and conditioning work with resistance bands.
Weighted vests sit across your chest and torso, restrict your shoulders and limit range of motion. Backstack positions weight high on your back — biomechanically optimal — and doesn't interfere with pulling movements at all.
Weighted pull-ups, chin-ups, dips, push-ups, rucking, loaded walks, stair climbs, and resistance band work using the integrated attachment points. It is designed for outdoor and gym use.
Backstack has integrated anchor points at multiple positions around the pack. Standard resistance bands clip or loop directly onto them, enabling rows, chest work, curls and more without any additional equipment.
Backstack is designed to hold a single standard Olympic weight plate. The exact weight range will be confirmed closer to production, but it is built for serious training loads.
Backstack features an adjustable harness system designed to fit a wide range of body sizes. Exact sizing information will be confirmed when production specs are finalised.
The collar lock is a secure mechanism that holds the Olympic plate in place on the spindle during movement. It locks quickly by hand and does not require tools.
Backstack ships with the pack, the spindle system, collar lock, harness, and resistance band attachment points. Weight plates are not included — it works with the standard Olympic plates you already own.
Backstack works with standard Olympic weight plates with a 2-inch (50mm) centre hole — the same plates used in every gym and garage setup worldwide. No special plates or adapters needed.
No. Backstack is designed around the plates you already own. If you have standard Olympic plates at home or access to a gym, you already have everything you need.
Yes, standard bumper plates with a 2-inch hole are compatible. Thicker bumper plates may affect how many you can stack, but the system is built with them in mind.
There is no minimum — you can start with a 2.5kg plate. The maximum load capacity will be confirmed with final production specs. The system is designed for serious training loads.
The spindle is designed to hold a single plate per use. Multi-plate stacking will depend on final production specs — we will confirm this closer to delivery.

Yes. All pre-order customers — whether reservation or full pre-order — receive their Backstack before public launch. First batch priority is one of the key benefits of backing early.
We will communicate any delays directly to all pre-order customers immediately. If there is a significant delay, full refunds are available on request at any point.
Pre-orders can be cancelled and fully refunded at any time before shipping. Once Backstack ships, our standard 30-day return policy applies. The product must be in original condition.
